Day 31
Evening
Dear Miss Smith,This afternoon we went to the Rosalie Mansion. The mansion was built by Peter Little. His grandfather, Colonel Peter Little, was a physician to George Washington, and a pallbearer at his funeral. The construction was completed in 1823; it was named Rosalie in honor of the duchess of Ponchertrain. It was a very fancy house.
Your friend,
Lydia
